What does my process look like?

  1. REQUEST AN ESTIMATE

    • You can request a free online estimate by clicking here. Please be ready to include a brief description of the desired project or repair. If an estimate request is for a larger project, I may need to come to you in order to see the extent of work that will be needed.

  2. ESTABLISH AN ACTION PLAN

    • After agreeing on the estimate, together we will talk through the project or repair as well as each step that I will take along the way. This is a great time to voice concerns or to ask questions. If you feel I have not had thorough communication, please let me know.

  3. SIGN THE ESTIMATE (OR CONTRACT)

    • For projects over $2,000, a contract is required. This will include names of both parties, addresses, client rights, description of work, and price & payment terms. For projects under $2,000, the estimate will be signed in lieu of a contact unless a contract is preferred by the client.

  4. LET THE FUN BEGIN!

    • This step is my personal favorite. Once I begin my work, you can rest assured that your project or repair will be completed in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. I will take great care to assure the surrounding work environment is protected, whether I’m inside or outside of your home.

  5. UPDATES / CHANGES TO ESTIMATE

    • Unfortunately there are times when a small project can turn into something larger. If this happens, changes in either material or labor cost will be communicated before I begin any additional work. No one likes an additional surprise charge after the work has been started.

  6. FINAL PAYMENT

    • Payments are due no later than one week after the project or repair has been completed. A final invoice along with receipts for material reimbursement will be provided. I accept cash, checks, or Venmo, or Cash App payments.

My Rates

Daily Rate (5-6 hrs) = $500

2-hr Minimum* = $200

*For repairs or projects under 2 hours I have a 2-hr minimum charge of $200, even if the job takes me 15 minutes. In order to make the most of both my time and your money, I recommend waiting to hire me until you have a “to-do” list of several tasks that I can work on at one time.

All of my services are backed by a 1-year Service Guarantee. I am committed to doing the job right the first time, but if any problem arises as a direct result of negligence on my part, I will come make it right free of charge.
